my 2010 bow buck

well,Mitch... you kicked my ass on the whitetail this year 
Denise an I have only hunted our own property this year and have been at it quite abit. hard not to pressure them when you only have 40 acres. we've been seeing lots of bucks but few nice ones. with rifle season opening tomarrow i told her i was going to shoot anything decent. this one came in following a doe. had to make a tricky shot. chest on. he went about 40-50 yards. i won't mount this one but will use the cape for another set of anlers from a buck i shot years ago. he was small bodied(maybe 160 dressed) but now Denise can have the run of our land by herself. she decided to not rifle hunt this year and just bowhunt. shes been out 13 times and has had shot oppertunities every time but 2. shes holding out for a mounter. i also missed one the other night. little bigger rack but had a boxcar body.. huge 
hit a branch and he was only 12-14 yards i'll save that one for Dcoy if he wants to come up late season
