				Depends on a few different things. If you have a fair amount of reloading experience and a chronograph(velocity and pressure go hand in hand), loading for the round isn't hard at all. I've played with three different barrels in this round, here is a brief description of them and rough estimate of avg. initial 100 yd groups.
1 in 8 twist kreiger rem varmint contour 5/16 inch 5 shots
1 in 7 twist hart rem varmint cotour 3/8 inch 5 shots
1 in 8 twist kreiger rem sporter contour 9/16 5 shots
All were built on rem actions. 75 grain amax is the only bullet I tried in any of them. Other bullets might shoot better. I can't say. Velocity will beat the standard Swift by a bit. If you want to use a short action it is a fine round. If you already have a long action you might be better off with with a 22-6mm. Personally I'll never be without atleast one 22-243.

				Guys;
Yes, the 6mm rem does fit in a short action. It's just a little better fit in a long action. I was nitpicking and should have told you so. As far as the the 22-243 going a little faster than the swift.. I'm basing that statement on tinkering with the 22-250AI. The 22-250 AI and the swift are pretty darned close to having exactly the same case capacity. I haven't bothered checking the case capacity of the 22-243 but I know it's good for another 150fps with the 75's. As far as the lighter bullets... the bigger case is always going to be faster. How much? I can't say for sure. Hope this helps. If not, let me know.
