just like dogs, but coyotes mate for life and all the males will be there waiting for fun, they mate for life and will remarry to another when he or she isnt no longer there for breeding them, you every have a bitch dog run off and find the most ugly hound you ever see, but the coyote is a true marrige the will only breed with there mate unless he is dis removed from use coyote hunters or somthing else

A female will mate with the dominate male in the territory, the male with mate with who ever he can.
