Vocal Coyotes - East vs. West

Hi all,
I do most of my calling in the far eastern part of ND, but once a year I go west to the Little Missouri National Grasslands to call. It's been my experience that the coyotes out west are much more vocal than the coyotes in eastern ND. I RARELY hear a coyote in the east unless I've been busted, yet out west I hear them all the time. I know that some on this board have called on both sides of ND and I'm curious if others have noticed this.
Thanks,
Nitwit
