Newbie here. Thinking of building a rifle throated for Sierra 69 grain HPBT bullets for coyotes. It would be a .223. I expect I gan get 3000 fps velocity. Any thoughts on this bullet/cartridge combo for coyotes? Looking for reliable 300 yard kill shots. Thinking the 69 grain bullet will buck the wind a little better and reach out a little flatter. What say you experts?

Thanks,

Jordan

I shoot the 69 gr Sierre Matchking in a 22-6mm for my work rifle at 3440fps and love it. Good shooter and hell on coyotes. Not very fur friendly however if you put up fur.
