cheaper 12 gauge ammo for yotes

looking for 12 gauge ammo that wont break the bank, coyote loads are expensive, will any 3.0 or 2.3/4 regular loads work for putting yotes down within 40 yards, i say 40 yards because i have a modified choke and its good up to about 40

4 buck....either in 3" or 2 3/4". I have killed hundreds of coyotes out to 40-50 with that load.

ok thanks, I bought some #4 buck in 2 3/4 fairly cheap, look forward to trying it out

take the time to pattern it with different chokes at say 40, 50, and 60 yards.

my mossberg 500 has the built in modified choke....so im only good to around 35-40 yards with it

pretty sure you can make those adjustable. don't know if it would be worth the expense. probably cheaper to go buy a new one.
