Here are some photos of last years contest in Kansas. There were 115 teams and arond 175 coyotes were killed in a day and a half. Constestants started Sat. and had to be back by noon on Sun. I went down there and had a booth. Pretty interesting . The weather was terrible on Sat. but it cleared off and it was nice. It was held Jan. 7th last year. The winning team harvested 15 coyotes and second place killed 12. Not too bad. Les Johnson, and a few other well known people were there. It was a good time. Enjoy the pictures.

I was wrong in my total coyotes killed. It was actually 210. It was hard to believe considering the terrible weather. Here is a picture of a guy you should know. It is Les Johnson and I'm not sure who thImagee other fellow is. It might be his brother.

Have you found a partner for the classic yet? Randy really want's to come up but I think he is waiting on one guy to see if he's going with him. If you get in a bind I could probably go but my travel is limited anymore. Can't walk very far. My feet just won't let me. I can get by pretty good like a couple miles but that is about it. My calling now is with ATV and out of a pick-up. Walk a quarter mile , set up and call. Later

I was told that Kansas now has surpassed Texas as far as density levels in certain counties. I have never hunted Kansas but I have heard that is can be pretty crazy listening to the coyotes howl at night over there.
