my gun loves the cci 40gr tmj im going to be using it for coons this season anyone have any luck using this round for coons any info would be helpfull

I have no experience with this round at all. When i have coon hunted in the past we used dogs to tree them and shot them with the cheapest federal or remington round we could find and shot them in the head and never had a problem. Never underestimate a coon though they are touhg critters.

I have used the 40 gr CCI in my pistol. A Taurus .22 mag, I like the round but not overly picky with my mag. I use it mainly for dispatching animals, plenty loud.
