Hope all you had a nice Thanksgiving. My boys were home and after dinner went archery hunting. He didn't have any luck. Just before dark he went for a little drive and videoed this nice buck chasing doe in heat. The buck had only one thing on his mind. He's a beauty. I had posted another picture of another buck. We compared them and they aren't the same deer. Enjoy. Image

Your already under double secret probation Jerry, they would be looking for a tall tree !!!!!!!! It's only a $75 fine for discharging a bow in city limits!!! Or is that where you were bow huntin, now it all makes sense!!!LOL

Another great pic Jerry.I was in your town 3 nights during West River deer(11/8-11/10-we drove to the White R daily).Saw a nice muley near the intersection of 1804 and Grey Goose road 2 nights in a row.Right among the houses. :D

Dcoy that intersection is a mile south of my house. Plenty of deer between here to town and so real nice ones, you didn't happen to see some barefooted archer chasing them did ya!! How did you do hunting?? You hunted on the River or near the town??

Hi Randy. They (the nice buck and a couple does)were right across from a big log type house near(just before the turn I think-town side of it???)the Grey Goose road turn.Place had a fence and a ranch type entrance.
Didn't see the bare footed bowhunter. :D
We hunted on the river south of Kennebec.Quite a place.Once in a lifetime deal for me I suspect cause I refuse to 'pay'to hunt.Hundreds of deer.

Randy,
Forgot to answer,we did good.I shot a pretty nice 10 whitetail my last day.Not the biggest I saw but...way it goes. You pass things and sometimes it doesn't pay.Great country! What surprised me was I didn't see a single coyote.Sign but not one sighting.

Dcoy, the reason you didn't see any coyotes is Randy has shot and trapped all of them.

Jerry speaks the truth, been telling people for two years now go north and east of here, stay east of the river!!! Numbers are way down in district 8!!!!!! Reservations have good numbers!!!
