How many of you use this sound (Estrous Chirp) when howling late season? Im just curious what your thoughts are about it. It is just another trick that someone might be able to use on these wise critters.

I wouldn't even begin to try to imitate that sound hell I don't even know what it sounds like. You guys are way to advanced for me. I am lucky to even get the howling and Ki Yi right let alone a Estrous Chirp hell I had to look how to spell it.

I was just curious if anyone has used this and had success. I have known about it for a while but never put any thought into it. I never knew they actually made a call for it

Just trying to educate myself a little more thats all.
Terry i have never used this call before. The example i gave you doesn't really sound like it to me. I took a trapping class this summer and was able to hear a sound that if could be replicated, could potentially be an amazing call to use. I always thought the chirp was like a bird chirping not a whimpering/pupdistress sound. Althoug they do wimper im sure. We can talk in more detail at the classic
