Heres a few coyotes that I got last week, 2 single males both came to the coyote in distress and a pair that I howled in and made a fast double with only 30 yds between bang flops

(my son thought I was shootin an auto) I did get a sleeping fox that normaly I would let go but real close to home so I tried and made the best shot this year 10-12mph winds and a fox sleeping at 463 yds.... all he did was lay out flat and never moved

gotta love the 22-250... so unless a coyote is in my back yard or causing trouble I,m on to fishin and snow goose hunting????IF they show up!!

Hell of a shot terry gotta like that close to your season. Snow goose season is going to be a bit of a mess won't it?
I figured you being the big dog guy and all you would have got the itch enough to start a denning dog this year!
This doesn't mean that you will be absent until fall does it?

good job Tbush. the snows are finally moving. i'd love to get into them but most rural roads are washed out around here so travel sucks.

Thats a hell of a way to end a season Tbush!! That long distance shot on a fox with that wind is like the icing on the cake

I gotta tell ya i think training denning dogs would be funner and more exciting than training bird dogs?

Bet there's more $$ in true 'workin' dogs-especially those that run Bobcats(mechanical ones)and shovels.I'm not the only guy thats never found a shovel that fits.

I've been asked a few times by Eric... but the money is just not there......Would you pay $2500.00- $5000.00 for a trained coyote dog????

Most of the guys that use them seem to really like the challanges of training their own dogs, and as you know you go through a few to find a good one. No diff than finding a good drug dog, or shed hunting dog, or K-9 dog its all about how you mold them

If i could see what the dog does before purchase ya. A good denning dog has a hell of a price tag on it's head.
But i understand that the demand just isn't there either.
