wolf found near a road by beltrami minn. a couple years ago. appeared to got hit by a car. was a big maleImage

Not sure where Beltrami is but if its on the Highway from Baudette to Keliher(in the big bog flats)it's likely the one we saw hit.We were going south,a pickup towing a construction trailer was going north.The wolf ran right in front of him and we saw it banging under both the truck and pickup.Guy wondered if he was in 'trouble',I said no but the wolf is.I think the sheriff or highway patrol was called,we left.
Strange deal,broad daylight,flat road,could see/hear for miles yet 'BANG'!Often have wondered if bugs played a role.Skeeters and black flies so bad there you hate to stop for a leak! :shock:

them deer flies can be absoluty maddning. beltrami is about 15 miles from the north dakota border. was never considered wolf country but they are moving this way :shock:

People dont want to admit it but there are approximately 5 wolves every year that are taken around St. Cloud, MN. There is a lot of shoot shovel and shut up going on :shock: the wolves are really starting to roam all parts wisconsin, mn, and im sure many other states. It wont be long before we see a season :D
