seem"s we're out of the water for now(pun intended). i am very impressed with the overall work of all the people involved in this fight.from the vollenteers to the ones making the tough decisions. our city leaders did one hell of a job keeping people informed, kept operations running as smooth as possible. can't wait to get back to work :D

I jokingly say I heard more gunfire in New Orleans after Katrina than I did for a year in downtown Baghdad. :D

But seriously, everywhere we went down there we had armed MP's or local law enforcement with us.

More trouble for Fargo/Mhd and surrounding areas! National Weather Service announced that there is a 75% chance the Red River will crest around 41' and a 25% chance it will crest at 42.8'! So in short, it will crest about the same or even higher than then the first crest. Is it ever going to end!

I hope you're kidding but know you wouldn't kid about that. Was really afraid of this-that last snow was heavy, wet stuff. We got 14-15 but they got much more north of me and a lot of that flows your way.Sad damn deal!

We just got the word tonight that we WILL be on active duty through the end of April, or whenever this ends, we will be manning the dikes once again in mid April in anticipation of the second crest. :(

There goes my spring snow goose hunting.

Hopefully, the melt stays slow and methodical. The WORST thing that could happen would be rain right now. Fingers crossed.
