Re: Fox Hunting Pics
they are protected in wyoming. many of the western states allow you to shoot and trap them with 8-10 dollar averages. they cause no lovestock damage and I find lots of there dens. probably 15 or so dens last spring. fun to watch.

Re: Fox Hunting Pics
Cool video Tim. What kind of camera is that? I need to get one of them that mounts to the gun like that.
I am glad to see that I am not the only one that occasionally has to use more then one shot. The other day I shot a coyote and hit it SEVERAL times just never one in the right spot to kill it so it kept going and going like the energizer bunny. But finally his batteries died.

Re: Fox Hunting Pics
bucksnbears, I'm sure you can appreciate these pics.
On what was looking to be my fourth dry stand of the morning, I saw this little bugger coming in from 800+ yards or so. She'd stop every ten yards or so and make me keep lip squeaking to get her in for a shot. With my new gun and the adrenaline I had running through me before I shot, I forgot that at 100 yards I'm sighted in 2" high, and she was only about 100 yards out
Sadly the .22-250 shooting 50 grain JHPs put a huge hole through the top of her back, but at least it was down for the count! My first shot at a critter with my new rifle and it happend to be my first fox! Couldn't have been a cooler hunt
Thanks for the help in finding spots silverdog!

Re: Fox Hunting Pics
thats ultra-super shooter
looks like a beauty to boot. how does the gun shoot??? just curious, who set the scope and mounts up???. the rear mount seems high and it appears the scope is pointing (tilting) to the front
