scouting
Lots of places to set this up. You can hang a flag inside this culvert and trap the mouth of the culvert. Put the trap right in the bank on both ends and pick up everyone that is useing the culvert. You can also go back over the fence and run the cut bank and eliminate most of the trash (skunks, raccoon...) and focus on the money makers

Re: scouting
Jamie, what kind of trap set up would you use in a culvert like that?

Re: scouting
If I was just trying to catch the cats I would not set up the culvert at all, I would set back on an area that I could eliminate some of my non-targets. If I was going for everything I would set on each end off to the side and try to cover the trails coming in to it with snares.

Re: scouting
Certain sets can be used to pull the critters up away from there or catch them as they are coming to the culvert. You won't have to deal with all of the skunks and coons that way plugging up your traps instead of those high dollar cats or old sheep killer coyotes.
The straight fur trapper should probably have a set or two right down by the culvert to pick up a bonus coon helps pay for gas ya know!
