I understood the "phallic symbol" part, but that was about it. I guess that goes to show that if it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

O.K, I'm not claiming to be a master of vocabulary or even have a strong grip on the English language BUT. I think what Mr.Pilgrim is trying to say is that he is surrounded by yuppies and trying to explain what we all do would be like teaching calculus to 2nd graders. :? Maybe I'm wrong and if so I appologize. Just had to take a crack at it. :)

All points well taken.

AOCaller has the idea although I must clarify that my neighbors aren't so much yuppies as they are 'urbanized' (although can be both), too far removed from certain realities. It's not exactly their fault, and I do like them. If you don't live too close to the city, just appreciate that there's a greater tendency for the urbanized to believe they're able to provide instant moral review on any subject, even coyote hunting. Trust me, just avoid certain stuff, cuz it almost always ends up like this:

Neighbor: "Well, coyote hunting sounds interesting.. Maybe I should try it?"

Me: "No, you shouldn't, really. I have to go."

Spot on pilgrim some time silence is the best answer. I have dealt with a fair share of yuppie type that aren't green in the sense that they hate hunting but also don't have any idea the time energy and thought process that goes into hunting/trapping and snaring.
