You might also try H4895 and 35gr Bergers as you're loading. They, along with the 40gr Bergers work well for me.
It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

Thank you. Figure I'll be set up (and look you 204 loaders up for insight) about the time the furnace gas bill is less than the electric bill.

39 grain Blitzking with 25.1 grains of Reloader 10x behind it, and loaded so that the bullet is touching the lands. 3/8 inch groups at 100 yards. Plus they make most anything smaller than a cat disappear. 
Have only shot one coyote with it so far, but at 65 yards the bullet went into the chest and never exited. The yote dropped in it's tracks.

Dan, that is just about the same load as I use in my browning A-bolt 204. I use 26.2 grs. of Varget. That is with the 39gr. Blitz-king bullets. I also shoot the 32gr. V-max with H-4895 powder. Those two powders seem to work the best for me. Right off the top of my head, I think I use Almost 28 grs. of H-4895 powder.
I had my 223 A bolt Browning rechambered to .204. Fun gun to shoot.

Using IMI casings I was pushing my Tactical.20 out at 4375fps,one went at 4420. These were the Hornady vmax 33gr. I went to the 35 Berger because I had too many crater hits, lost one perfect 200yd broadside shot coyote. I since tried the Nosler 40 gr, I like it even better. It has a solid back on the bullet. When I shot 55gr ones out of my .223 I noticed the back would keep going and stop at the skin on the other side, or blow through. I thought this was good, to not have all of the bullet shatter right away. I get less fur damage so far, than I did with Nosler in my .223.
