Travel headsup

Post by Dcoy »

We got fooled big time prediction wise.I'm in NE SoDak and we were to get 1-3 last nite and maybe a couple more today. Here,we got at least 5 and its snowing VERY hard now-'dumping' is a better word. Now saying we could get up to 7 more.It got light and I realized I wasn't hunting today.Limped home at about 20 mph.Wind starting up,serious drifting starting and when the winds get to 30-40 mph as predicted, travel here is done.
Schools are closing quickly and while radar looks OK many places,I know schools in central SoDak are closing down all along the northern border with NoDak-at least east of the Missouri. Also just heard parts of I90 in the SW are closing.
Just a heads up to any traveling to the Classic through this part of SoDak.
Good hunting!
