Well,I've quit laughing over this storm now.Ran to Aberdeen to TRY find some dam federal primers(ha)and while there noticed the 'panic' buying of generators, heaters, propane, etc. In one fleet store they had sold the 19 generators they had in 2 hours this morning.Upon inquiry I discovered the good possibility of an ice storm followed by 10 inches of snow and 40mph winds. Then on the way home(an hour trip turned to two)it started pouring rain and I realized its no longer funny. If this rain continues=goodby pheasants and power.Hopefully not another one of those week long power outages with hundreds of poles down.Dam!

3 to 4 inches and 40mph winds here all day yesterday and supposed to keep on through today and i had a trouble call of some coyotes taking down a cow that was "stiffened" up to get too
Unreal conditions here.A true blizzard.Sustained 40mph and gusts to 60.Earlier today I sent a few guys here pictures of our deck and the outside farm dog.Ha,now they've disappeared.
As of noon,State Dept of P Safety said 5800 power poles down in SoDak-god knows in NoDak-and its still rolling. We are 'flickering' now and then but still have power.
I leave this site to check around to see the forecast and whats happening in other parts ofthe State only to find out some SOB(s)stole 20,000 dollars worth of equipment from power workers on the way to help out in NoDak.
