What time of year do the coyotes start to hump and are do you have different methods for calling them in this time of yr?

Breeding occurs from February through March.

breeding season vary somewhat from state to state on Longitudinal lines and elevations. typically you are looking at middle of february through the end of february. they pup out at 60-63 days.

The coyotes are starting to pair up here, but tthe females don't look like they have been bred yet..
The redfox on the other hand have started to breed..

Around here They've been paired up since late December. Haven't had any luck calling for a month. Last year it didn't pick up again till febuary.

Yeah I wonder if the fox are pairing up in these parts too. The one we got the other night was all rutted up ha ha. You guys just seeing pairs runnin around?

coyotes and fox are paired up. havn't seen any breeding yet. i usually see fox breeding between feb-10-20
the more food you have in your mouth at one time, the better you can taste it!!!

Paired and in groups heavy here getting the pecking order figured out.

I had a real good day on the snare line, I got 6 females and a couple looked pretty swollen. My Airedale gave a them a go, one was hip caught, she was trying to bite him as he was trying to mount. He looked pissed when I shot her.

I would assume that is when the coyote said as if this couldn't have gotten any worse this Asshole thinks its time to party!! LOLOL

Way too funny. Can't blame the dog, she couldn't get away. How many of us "dogs" if put in his place, wouldn't have the same thing running through our heads, I mean our brains? :lol:
