Season in review..

Post by mitchkvernum »

Was a good season for Marty and I.. Wish Luke would have been here for it. But every coyote we shot was dedicated to the lukester... A few highlights..

Image

50+ LBS bruiser coyote.. biggest of the year.

Image

Memorable double, called these two across a stubble field right to our laps.. The ki-yi was the 2nd coyotes demise..

Image

Our best weekend of the season 16 coyotes in two days.. three dogs missed the photo op

Image

my favorite stand. 3 shots 3 dead doggies.

Image

the foggy morning double was up there!! 2 giant dark song dogs..

Image

one stand.. Marty just kept shooting

Image

4 dog solo day..

One of the last days out, pickup up on six.. With a sweeeeet triple

It was a good year weeneded up with over 100 dogs called and kille. Hope next year is more of the same.. Until then will be doing more of.....

YEP sure is nice to feel good about the past year and looking forward to the next, Have'nt shot beaver in a while sure would be nice, used to have a dog that would retrieve them and rats, he was all scared in the face by ones that would play possom on us  Mitch you ever tryed bow fishing for beaver, I think it would be a blast just call them up to the boat and 8)

Every sunday night or monday morning I would say to myself, how many did Mitch and Marty get this weekend as I was turning on the computer. You guys had a magical year and it was fun to be able to hear the stories. Hope next year is even better for you.

great post. love th3 pics. Get after the beaver!! I love shooting beaver out of a boat. We got 23 in just a few hours before dark one time and lost I think another 6. If you have not floated the river and shot beaver you are really missing out. good luck
