Step Grandsons first prairie dog shoot.

Post by Jerry Hunsley »

I took my boy Miles and his step-son out to a friends ranch for some shooting. It was his first time shooting , so I thought I would start him out with my 204. He took to that like a duck on water. We set up a target at 100yds. and this was his firt group. The first one was high and then the next ones were pretty good. He told me it was his best time that he has ever had. Sorta made me feel good. He stick pretty close to me now. I have had him with me when I checked my traps before and it was an eye opener for him, but he loves it. I threw some other pictures in with Houston on a fishing trip. The picture of the two coyotes was taken off the internet. I thought it was a neat picture. Sounds like coyote prices might be up this coming season, from what I have read. Enjoy the fast moving Summer. It won't be long until Fall. Image

Thank you for getting another youngster into hunting, fishing and trapping. They learn a lot more about their surroundings when they get away from the computer screens and tvs.

I can't wait to take my boy with shooting. He 2-1/2 and in training to be my hunting partner.

Your pics get me excited for the time he can tag along.
