Great cartrige. I've shot to 600yds with great satisfaction. If your going to use it on coyotes stay away from Match Kings and standard balistic tips. They open fast at 260 velocity and will cause a lot of damage at closer ranges. Try Barnes x-bullets. I've put them through ground hogs at 50 yds with little holes front and back. I don't think they would do any worse at long range especially where velocities drop off.

Im contemplating a build in .260.
Punching some generic numbers vs my current .308 load and it (the .260) has the .308 beat in all departments at 1000 yards with 140 grain bullets.

Yes.I have a friend that uses one in Wisconsin.Sits on a power line that runs through a swamp and puts holes in em a longggg way out there.I've put my build on hold but only for $$ reasons and only temporarily.
