price of fur
when i read about you guys selling coyote fur,I ask myself are there really a market for coyote fur were you live? we had a bonty a few years back ,but no fur value.

I am assuming that you are from Kentucky
I would put the kentucky coyote in the same bracket as the minnesota coyote. Right now i bilieve minnesota coyotes are bringing $5 for an average coyote on the carcass, and $10 for the decent ones on the carcass. If you were to put them up,i bilieve you could get offered $10 - $15 for a well put up pelt. Any coyote you shoot from the beginning of december until the end of january should be a decent enough pelt to put up and sell. If you look at mitch kvernums posts or a few of the other guys that have posted pics of western ND and Eastern MT coyotes, you will see some prime coyote pelts for both color and fur quality.

My IA ones are 20-30$ put up, sold to Groenewold's. The bad ones forget it, just save the good fur.
