I got one question. If he was coming straight for you , why did you shoot him at 320yds. You must be one heck of a shot to have that much confidence. I just found it a little comical in what you said. Good shot anyhow. Good for you.

OK so good question....lol. I got a little too excited and was a little off on range estimation. I was using a set of shooting sticks and while he was trottin I had the crosshairs on him and everything was steady and felt good. Now why didnt I let him come closer....well the night before I was out and one was walking at me at about 200 yards. Everything looked perfect he went down into a little dip and should have reappeared at about 120....he never came out. This one had a patch of cattails between he and I so I didnt want to risk it. Again I felt really good about the shot. I shot a deer at 250+ with the same rifle a few weeks ago and put it right where I wanted to. The rifle Im shooting is a TC ProHunter with a custom 21" 22-250 heavy barrel. I love that little gun. Thanks for the congrats. Its already been a good first season for me here in ND.

Thanks again....it is nice to get my first yote in this state. Got a few in Alaska and PA, but huntin here is different and requires some different tactics. It is nice being able to see so far! :D
