Terry,
Had a long forgotten reminder what you were talking about when you mentioned a snipe pod leg pulling out in snow, nevertheless, like in walking, one leg is still better than none. :D

Calling has been tough... the wind has been real calm hard to not make any noise and have'nt been going in as far as normal due the snow, just pulled the snow shoes out!! But did manage to shoot a fox bedded and a drive by on a coyote now I normaly let those go and work them later but my buddy said shoot shoot, by the time I stopped, got out found him in the scope "click" chambered a round and fired and bang flop could not beleive it.
I almost lead him to much shot it in the head..same with the fox in the head.

We saw coyotes moving all day pair's, singles even had 2 sit and watch us at 1/2 mile only to get 3others to join them and man did they talk alot , but never came closer, My thoughts they were eating on something there :?: we tryed to wait them out but cold got the best of us, I'LL BE BACK THERE!!!

Overall the snow did make it difficult and I feel for you guys who don't like the snow

Nice pictures Terry!!! Way to go. Looks like it was a lot nicer weather than we have had. If you are still going somewhere this Winter, I would say go to Montana , or Wyoming. Looks like you might want to just stay at home. Have you ever hunted the Washburn area? On the way up to Kenmare I saw a pr. right along the road. Looked like pretty good country. Keep them nice pictures coming. Enjoyed them a lot. :)
