I'm a beginner coyote killer. Just bought a 22-250 and a mechanical predor call. Our plan is to hunt Wyoming or North Dakota in the early fall, is this a good time and what is the best time. Any tips for a couple of newbee's. One more quick question, is it very hard to get permission from ranchers to hunt coyotes.

end of October is a great time to start if you are new. Lots of virgin ears running around.
