Here Kitty Kitty Kitty!!!!!!!

Heres the picture of the lion that I took on Dec 30 2009. I got it while I was scouting new locations for bobcat traps. She was stalking me and came up over a rock 20 yards ahead of me. All I had was a .22 pistol that I carry on my line. Luckily, I had one of my dogs with me and he came running when I called and he heard me shooting to try and scare the damn thing off. It got about 5 yards closer and I was able to back out and get to the truck while it kept an eye on my dog. I only had my shotgun loaded with #4 buck so I waited about 45 minutes before I went back to see if I had hit her with my pistol. When I got back into the rocks my dog picked up her tracks and went right back to where I had seen the lion the first time. She came out of her same hiding spot at my dog and ran him off and looked my direction so I let loose with 1 shot from my scatter gun and dropped her at 24 yards. I had to leave her lay so the game warden could come and take a look to see where she had actually came at me. It was totally legal and so I got to tag her and keep her. The most scared I've ever been in my whole life.

The shitting of the pants did take place!!!!! The only reason I didn't run is because my 86 year old grandma could out run me on my best day. I found that it was pretty hard to turn your back on something that could eat you. Better to keep it where you can see it. Thabnks for the compliments, but I think alot of people would react the same way. Thanks Dcoy. It's a product of spending way to much time on the back of a horse in Wyoming and Montana. Maybe also sprnding way to much time on a bar stool in Stockmans in Elko.
