tough choice-need help
So I've got a free pass tomorow. The wife is going to a baby shower. Should I go rope calves all day at my buddies branding..........Or..............Go call coyotes all day. If it were prime time for coyotes it would be a no brainer but I haven't got to hunt all day for a while. On the other hand they are short on ropers so I wouldn't even have to get off my horse. I'm stumped. I have a pretty good idea what all you guys will say but I figured I'd ask.

Go drag calves in the morning. Then you can go call until almost 8 pm. Best of both worlds.
That would just about be a perfect day in my book.

Funny Levi, real funny, but I'm gonna have to go with Dusty on this one. My horse is saddled and my Camo and camera are loaded so we'll see what happens. I've never called coyotes with spurs on but we'll give it a shot.

Re: tough choice-need help
We branded about 200 calves and were done at 3:00 pm. So the plan was going good for doing it all in one day other than the wind was blowing about 65 mph by the time got home and put my horse away so I didn't even attempt calling. I did get about a 2 hour nap before the wife and the hellions got home so all in all it was a good day. Probly need to leave them alone and let the pups grow up so I can start video #2 going. Video #1 I think is ready to go.

You coulda went out coyote calling on your horse and when one come in, roped him, branded him, taken a pic and let him go. That way, when Mitch calls him in next year(yes, I realize the distance but I think mitchs secret sound is an air raid siren) you can say you got there first.

Maybe foxpro could come up with an plankton in distress sound and he could call in a paddlefish

the more food you have in your mouth at one time, the better you can taste it!!!

And there will be mitch, down on the riverbank hunkered back in some brush with his Foxpro and a fishin' pole. Nice bucs, thats how it all starts and next thing ya know, no body but Mitch is hooking any fish, 'cept maybe Marty and then they will reel in and will have 3 or 4 fish all on the same line....EVERY OTHER DAY!!!!!!
